How to serve
Liver is an organ where even a small amount moves the nutrition numbers a great deal, so use it as part of the meal, not as the main meat. In breeds known to accumulate copper in the liver (such as Bedlington Terriers and West Highland White Terriers), take care that copper-rich ingredients do not appear day after day. Products sold for the human table, such as from supermarkets, should be cooked through to the center before feeding. Products sold as raw food for dogs should be used as directed on that product.
