Can dogs eat Raisins?
Raisins（レーズン）
Do not feed
Never give these to dogs. Drying changes nothing — they are treated the same as grapes.
If your dog ate this
Confirm what your dog ate, how much, and when.
Call your regular clinic; after hours, contact an emergency animal hospital.
What kind of food is this?
Dried grapes. In dogs, like grapes, they are known for serious effects on the kidneys.
Reactions vary greatly between individual dogs, and 'my dog ate some before and was fine' is no guarantee that the next time will be safe.
They can be hidden in sweets and bread
Raisins appear not only on their own but also mixed into bread, cookies, granola, salads, and more. Ingredient lists may call them "dried grapes" or simply "dried fruit."
The baking ingredients sold as "currants" are also small dried grapes, despite the different name.
